Before removing the battery after your ride, use the side handles to tilt the jetboard and remove any excess water from inside the battery compartment.
Once you’ve drained the jetboard, release the locks fully by turning them counter-clockwise.
Note that the battery is designed to fit securely in place and it can be challenging to lift it from its compartment. Before trying to lift the battery away from the jetboard, use the handles to wiggle the battery from side-to-side. This will remove any vacuum that may have occurred.
Then, hold the front and rear ends of the battery, and lift straight up. Be sure to keep the battery level while doing so.
Once the battery is removed, attach the rubber connector protectors back onto the jetboard and the battery.
Take a towel and dry off any excess water that might be left in the battery compartment.
