After you’ve completed your ride you should always remove the battery from the board, but before doing so it’s advised to use the side handles to tilt the board to its side for a few seconds to drain any excess water inside the battery compartment.
Make sure to fully release the lock rings before taking the battery out of the board. Grip the front and rear of the battery to lift it straight up without tilting it.
As the battery is designed to have a snug fit it can be a little hard to remove. Before trying to lift it, use the handles and wiggle the battery a little from side to side to remove any vacuum that might have occurred.
