Before charging the jetboard battery, it’s important to make sure that the battery has had time to cool off after use. Riding builds up heat in the battery, so if the battery is connected to the charger before it has had time to cool off it might not charge.
When you first plug in your charger into an outlet, the charger’s LED lights should turn red and green and the fan should give a quick spin, indicating that the charger is activated and ready for use.
After you connect your battery it may take some time before charging starts. Eventually, you should hear 2-3 clicking sounds and the LED lights will both turn red, indicating that the battery is properly charging. When the battery is fully charged, the LED lights will revert back to red and green.
If the battery is in need of an optimization, charging may not initiate, especially if you are using the Speed Charger. You can access the Battery Optimizer feature directly from your home screen in the Radinn app (see article What is the Battery Optimizer feature? for more).
The latest update of the app is required to access this feature, and it's not recommended to use Speed Charging for optimization.
If the steps above don’t solve your problem, submit a request with our Product Support team and they will assist you. Make sure to include your Battery ID in the request.
